Hello everyone, my name is Hannah, and I would like to share a little about myself. At age 3 I began dancing, I swiftly fell in love with the art form and became more committed to achieving my dream of becoming a professional ballerina. At aged 8 I auditioned to become a Junior Associate of The Royal Ballet School, so, for the next two years, I would train once a month with them. This training was wonderful! So much information and such a challenge, I was very tight so stretching was implemented as a part of my daily life, it was as natural as breakfast, lunch and dinner! At age 11 I successfully auditioned to become a full time member of The Royal Ballet School, and left home to pursue my dream! I continued in full time training until graduating at 18 and beginning my professional career. Most of my time training was spent in Ballet class, however, when not found at the barre, I was studying Pilates, Anatomy and Physiology, and gaining my dance teacher qualifications.
Dedicating my life to dance has gifted me with a finely tuned skill to analyze movement and the way in which each body articulates, then I am able to work to correct posture, alignment and symmetry within the body, utilizing a combination of stretching, strengthening, proprioception work and increasing natural awareness of how one's body moves.
I fell in love with Stretch Lab as it brings awareness to one of the most crucial aspects of maintaining good health! A lack of mobility can wreak havoc in our lives, storing stress and tension within our bodies and minds. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and the journey begins on the bench! I’m looking forward to meeting you and formulating a pathway to achieving your goals!
