      Ellyn personally discovered the benefits of fitness while attending Pennsylvania's most comprehensive law enforcement academy. Following five years in the field, she made a bold career shift from law enforcement to pursue her true passion. She returned to school to earn her degree in dietetics and also acquired certifications in Crossfit, USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coaching, and NASM Certified Personal Training. Currently with almost 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, her expertise lies in seamlessly integrating nutrition, fitness, and mindset. Ellyn loves empowering others to cultivate healthy habits that align with their individual lifestyles. With a commitment to sustainability and longevity, she promotes a balanced yet nourishing nutritional approach (she’s a foodie!) and also advocates the importance of strength training for everyone!. Additionally, Ellyn places great value on the role of stretching in overall well-being and firmly believes in its benefits, both physically and mentally. It constitutes an essential “piece of the puzzle” of our overall health. Ellyn hopes to inspire others to piece together their own holistic puzzle and to lead lives they genuinely love.

      Everyone meet Annie! Annie has been a Flexologist here at StretchLab Princeton since we officially opened in November 2023. She has her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University (New Brunswick), and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Right now, she runs her own business- which provides individualized and adaptive personal training to individuals with special needs and disabilities! She is also in the process of becoming a Certified Boxing Coach for individuals with Parkinsons. Her past job experiences include working as a physical therapy aide in both outpatient and inpatient facilities, as well as a Certified Medical Assistant in orthopedic physician offices. In her free time, she loves distance running, and exercising at her local crossfit gym. Annie’s mission is to treat everyone that walks in as family, and to help direct and encourage them in reaching their individual functional mobility goals!

      Maeleena is a Spring 2022 George Mason University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, as well as a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. Her martial arts experience is what led her to choose her field of study. She grew up in West Windsor, having moved there at the age of eight. Highlights of her past experiences include being a Taekwondo instructor and working as a chiropractic assistant. Helping to empower and inspire people to believe in and achieve healthier and happier lifestyles is her strongest motivation; Maeleena would be grateful and honored to play a part in your fitness and wellness journey!

      Jon, a second-year student at Rutgers University, is all about fitness. He's majoring in Exercise Science and loves playing soccer as a goalie. He used to do Taekwondo, too. Through these sports, he learned how important stretching is for staying healthy and performing well. Now, he wants to help others understand its benefits too. Jonathan hits the gym regularly and dreams of becoming a Physical Therapist. He's eager to get experience in health and wellness settings, especially at StretchLab. His big goal? Making sure everyone can get a great stretch and feel their best!

      Evan is a senior at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey currently studying and working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and currently has an Associate’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. He has had a passion for health and fitness since he was young, from playing multiple sports to going to the gym, he always wants to try and better himself mentally and physically. He worked as an assistant personal trainer in previous work and wants to continue working with people in order to help them have a better overall well-being of themselves. He has hopes of pursuing a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in his upcoming years and this is helping give him a step in that direction.

      Embarking on a transformative journey from igniting dance floors to unlocking bodies' flexibility, Atrice has seamlessly transitioned from being a seasoned Zumba instructor to a dedicated Flexologist. With 12 years of experience in Group Fitness, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for movement to her role. Drawing upon her background in dance and fitness, Atrice approaches stretch therapy with a holistic mindset, recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind and body. She fosters a supportive and nurturing environment, empowering her clients to embrace their bodies' potential and embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

      Shaine is veteran in the healthcare field with over 10 years of experience previously working as a massage therapist. He worked with chiropractors and physical therapists over the years to improve his technique. He specializes in sports massage and trigger points. His main focus is working with clients for injury recovery and improving general wellness through personalized stretching routines.

      Albert is a third year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at DeSales University and graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in health science. He is also currently working to become a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. His long-term goal is to open his own business. Albert combines his deep understanding of anatomy and optimal human movement with his clinical skills to provide clients with an individualized stretching experience. He believes stretching is a powerful preventative and rehabilitative medicine. Albert looks forward to working with clients and serving as a guide along their stretching journey.

      Daria is a dedicated Flexologist with a rich background in ballet and modern dance, bringing movement expertise and a keen understanding of body mechanics to her practice. With over seven years as a Yoga Alliance certified instructor, she combines her knowledge of various disciplines to promote flexibility, mobility, and overall wellness. Her passion for body alignment is complemented by her educational foundation, having completed two semesters of college-level anatomy and physiology courses, as well as courses in Yoga Anatomy and Alignment and Breath. She is also committed to continuing her education by pursuing a 300-hour Yoga Alliance certified course to further deepen her knowledgeand skills. This academic experience enhances her ability to tailor her approach to each individual’s unique needs, ensuring safe and effective results. Whether guiding clients through personalized flexibility routines or integrating principles of alignment in a group setting, Daria is committed to helping others achieve their movement goals while fostering a deeper awareness of their bodies. She believes in the power of mindful movement as a path to physical and mental well-being, inspiring clients to cultivate their potential and enhance their quality of life.

      Everyone meet Nitya! She is a student at Thomas Jefferson University currently pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She has completed her B.S. Exercise Science from the University of Delaware with a minor in Physical activity and Disabilities. She is a strong advocate for holistic health techniques which enhance life through maintenance of health. Her certification in yoga has increased her knowledge of the mind body connection which she likes to use in her session by bringing focus to the breathe and incorporating body awareness strategies. Nitya’s goal with her clients is to help them to move and feel better in their body which will carry over to prolonging quality of life and daily function.

      Hello, my name is Avani Deshpande! I am currently in physical therapy school right now, working towards my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I have previous experience in working as a PT aide and volunteering at many different PT clinics. I really enjoy working with people and helping them on their path to recovery! In addition, I am classically trained in Indian Classical singing and dance for the past 12+ years and I’m still continuing learning and performing in various locations throughout America. I am really excited to be here at Stretch Lab!

      Marc is a Temple University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Professions with a Physical Therapy focus. He is a former soccer player and received a Division III offer to play collegiate soccer but turned it down to focus on school. With this background he understands the importance of stretching and how it affects the human body. Marc just got accepted into graduate school and is studying Physical Therapy at Dominican University of New York. He is looking forward to applying the knowledge that he learns and apply it to his time at stretch labs and making more and more people feel better.

      Group Stretches are led by one of our highly trained Flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches and teach proper stretch tool use.

      A 25 or 50 minute one-on-one stretch customized to your specific needs, focusing on problem areas or targeting certain muscle groups.
