      Melanie "Lanie" has a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and with a minor in Health from Sam Houston State University. She was also a competitive cheerleader for 11 years and continued cheering at college at Navarro College and Sam Houston State University. She has been a cheerleading coach for a year and taught stretch classes there as well. Lanie has been stretching for most of my life and really understand the importance of stretching as a part of physical wellness to completment her degree. She loves being able to combine her love for stretching while educating others on the benefits.

      Kenisha has a degree in Exercise Sport Science and is currently working on a second degree in Nutrition. Her background includes working in injury prevention with High School athletic trainers. Also in various sports track and field, gymnastics and volleyball. Stretching has always been a part of her background an helping athletes. She also participates in the University of Houston Gymnastics Club Team. She also enjoys working out and living a healthy lifestyle. She joined StretchLab to help people of all ages feel better but also because of the extensive training and continuing education if offers. She truly loves being part of a team that loves helping people feel better!

      Jonathan has dedicated the past seven years to the fitness industry, driven by a personal quest for change. His fitness journey started when he was over 315 lbs. Through determination to reclaim his health, he lost over 100 lbs. That journey inspired his career as a personal trainer, earning certification from ISSA. His mission is to empower others to achieve what they once deemed impossible. That includes mobility and flexibility. As a Flexologist, he helps clients facilitate remarkable results and fostering a deeper connection to their bodies using the Nationally Certified training from StretchLab. He uses his personal training as well to customize sessions for each client, guiding them with at home stretches to ensure results and that they fee better. He loves the atmosphere at StretchLab and how it also helps his clients unwind, escape their stresses, and heal their bodies. During his time away from the studio he enjoys weight lifting, playing video games and loves eating out to try out different cuisines.

      Aysis holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on wellness management from Houston Christian University, where she was also on the women’s golf team. With 12 years of golf experience and a background as a junior golf intern at The First Tee Dallas, she brings a deep understanding of athletic performance to her practice. Aysis has also worked as a physical therapy technician, further honing her skills in rehabilitation and movement therapy. Her passion for helping others overcome self-limiting beliefs through movement stems from a personal experience. After sustaining a low back injury as a teen, she discovered the transformative power of physical therapy, sparking her dedication to guiding others toward a better connection with their own bodies. The personalized approach at StretchLab resonates with her belief that every person’s journey is unique and that movement can be a powerful tool for breaking through physical and mental barriers. It’s a space where she can help others feel their best, both physically and mentally, which is what drives her passion for her work every day.

      Deavin has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. He played football for 13 years, one year at the collegiate level at Sterling College (KS). After having multiple injuries and going through rehab, he quickly learned the importance of taking care of your body. Deavin is excited to join Stretchlab because he can help clients improve their wellbeing while educating them and ultimately connecting with them one on one.

      Maria received her Bachelors in Fine Arts for Dance with a minor in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University. She began dancing at the age of 3, and competed professionally for 15 years. Maria is currently dancing with a professional dance company in the Houston Area called Noble Motion. She teaches ballet, contemporary and floorwork to students of all ages in Houston and Spring, TX! She has also dedicated herself to the fitness industry and has gained experience in Pilates, weight training, bodybuilding and conditioning. Maria is currently in the process of receiving Certifications from NASM for Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching. Maria has an immense curiosity and strong understanding for the anatomical structure; She values stretching and mobility not only for dancers but for all humans. She enjoys being able to educate the community about the benefits of stretching and hearing such positive feedback! She is so excited to join the StretchLab team and looks forward to helping as many clients as possible move and feel better!

      I have a bachelors in Kinesiology and minor in Health Promotion from Michigan State. I grew up in gymnastics and cheerleading so I understand the importance of stretching as it relates to injury prevention, performance, and overall function first hand. I’ve previously worked as a personal trainer with a variety of clients who want to better their health, fitness, and overall well being. I am most passionate about helping people improve their quality of life, regain mobility, achieve their personal goals, and gain confidence through movement therapy. Simple movements, stretches or exercises can drastically change someone's life as it relates to mobility and overall well being, and being able to help them achieve their goals and transform their bodies and lives is what I love the most! I also enjoy that I get to work with a wide range of people from different age groups, backgrounds, and goals.

      Group Stretches are led by one of our highly trained Flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches and teach proper stretch tool use.

      A 25 or 50 minute one-on-one stretch customized to your specific needs, focusing on problem areas or targeting certain muscle groups.
