Hey there, I'm Tori! I just graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Kinesiology. In addition to being a Flexologist here at StretchLab, I am Certified as a Strength Coach through NCSF and am a small business owner doing personal training as well. When I'm not hustling, you can catch me thrift shopping or staying active with weightlifting, running, rock climbing, hiking, and snowboarding (when the weather is nice). But hey, I also love a lazy day, chilling and binge-watching movies or shows, or sipping on an iced matcha latte and reading a good book ;) What I love about StretchLab is the chance it gives me to share my knowledge on how the body moves and functions and help my clients live their best, enjoying life with less discomfort and more joy!

My passion for health and wellness stems from wanting to live and experience life to its fullest potential with minimal limitations, and love helping others along their path to do the same. I was born and raised in the Portland area, where I grew up playing every sport I could and always being active. In 2023, I graduated from Oregon State University with my Bachelor's in Kinesiology with an option in Pre-Therapy and Allied Health. Now, I spend my time continuing my education in the athletic field and helping people move their best. I love applying my knowledge in both my personal life and through many facets of the fitness industry, including my pursuit of becoming a professional bodybuilder.

I am a certified Pilates instructor, certified in various Pilates formats, including Pilates for Multiple Sclerosis and Pilates for Neurological Conditions. Additionally, I am contemporary and classically trained in Pilates, hold a Yoga Certification, and have earned many continuing education certificates. My educational and training background has given me a solid foundation for my endeavors with StretchLab and the technique of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching. Currently, I teach Pilates at the Oregon Ballet Theater, where I work with principal and company dancers and assist with rehabilitation in collaboration with physical therapy. During the off-season, I teach Pilates group classes for nearly 40 trainee dancers in the Summer Intensive Program. I genuinely enjoy teaching Pilates and often incorporate a Yoga pose or two. I am continuously learning new techniques to enhance and refine my craft. Through working with a group of physicians, I recognized how movement can impact our daily lives and aid in our healing process. My clientele includes a diverse range of individuals, spanning ages from 14 to 87, encompassing various body shapes and sizes. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, including individuals with Multiple Sclerosis, Breast Cancer survivors, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Scoliosis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoporosis, Pre/Post Spinal Surgery, Neuropathy, Arthrogryposis, Diabetes, Post Knee and Hip Surgeries, as well as many active men and women. I'd be honored to help you build lasting healthy habits that will support you in all your pursuits, creating a strong connection between your mind and body that will stay with you for life. Guiding principles I live by: When you look back, learn and grow to move forward. Observe to know what you like and grow from that. Dance as if no one is watching and don't care that they are.

"Be the change you wish to see in the world around you." M. Ghandi. This phrase was dedicated in huge metal letters across the top of a building at a college I attended and it has remained a mantra of mine. Taking for granted my "natural" athleticism in youth, things fell apart pretty quickly after having children and working at a desk for several years. With each injury sustained, the solution was always in functional movement. When Covid lead to a layoff at my company, I took the opportunity to consider what I really wanted to do with my professional efforts. Finding more time to focus on me I increased my Yoga practice, bought a pair of Rollerskates, and enjoyed playing basketball with my son. Always outdoors, I took my first backpacking trip in Spring of 2023 and realized then what truly mattered to me. I wish for everyone to feel the confidence and satisfaction of meeting life with strength and agility. A natural teacher, cheerleader, and emotional support coach I started the Holistic Masters Program with International Sports Science Association (ISSA). With certifications in Personal Training, Life Coach, Nutrition, and Anti and Post-Natal Fitness, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) rounds out my personal brand of Wellbeing.

I recently moved to Oregon from Durango, CO where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College. I spent two years as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the school where I loved working with athletes to better their sport performance and prevent injury. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing sports, camping, hiking, snowboarding, yoga, reading, and being on the river. Working at StretchLab is a great opportunity to continue my journey in the health and wellness industry, helping people reach their goals and feel better in their bodies each day.
