Welcome to StretchLab Flower Mound

I am excited to share my knowledge from schooling and my personal training certification through NFPT. I am actively pursuing my y undergrad with the goal to be apart of both the wellness and health professions. I have spent the past 3 years learning about my body and love the opportunity to help people learn more about their own and how we can motivate each other to move. My favorite part of the day is going to the gym and cooking up a post workout meal. I enjoy traveling and exploring the world we live in, and of course trying new foods. I love that at StretchLab I get to apply my studies to help people move and stay mobile through active recovery! Seeing our members walk out our doors, happy and smiling and full of relief is one my favorite things about StretchLab.

Hi! I'm AJ. I am a recent graduate of Texas Tech's Kinesiology program eager to establish myself in the wellness industry. Originally, I am from South Texas, later moving up to DFW in 2019. Hoping I can share my passion for movement, nutrition, and wellness with all of you. Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active by walking nature trails with my Husky and working out with friends. I also have found a new passion for running. If I'm outside I'm happy. StretchLab and their commitment towards flexibility education is something I deeply value. Being able to provide others with reductions in stress, muscle pain, soreness and increasing people range of motion and performance is the foundation for growing passion. The fulfillment StretchLab and Flex's can bring to you is something I'm looking forward to!

With a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from TWU, I've spent four years immersed in the study of the human body and its mechanics. This educational journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of how essential it is to maintain optimal physical health. My passion lies in applying this knowledge to help others improve their mobility and overall well-being. Whether it's through therapeutic techniques or personalized exercise programs, I am driven by the desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. My interests extend beyond academia, as I find joy in reading captivating stories and occasionally indulging in sitcoms for leisure. Moreover, spending time with friends brings me immense happiness, as their company enhances any activity. My current role at StretchLab perfectly aligns with my professional aspirations, allowing me to utilize my expertise in a positive environment while collaborating with like-minded individuals.

I have been a physical therapist tech for two years and am currently working at Texas Roadhouse located in Flower Mound. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in kinesiology back in 2022. I enjoy driving at night around the city. While I am outside, I enjoy taking a walk and listening to music, but if I am inside, I am most likely playing with Legos. StretchLab allows me to help people build a healthier lifestyle alongside with coworkers who are fun to be around with and make work enjoyable.

I recently obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree after completing my Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science - Kinesiology. While working at StretchLab I will be actively working towards my Chiropractic licensure. I am also a former collegiate athlete (baseball) and played six various sports at a high level while growing up. I am currently very active within the club volleyball community helping run strength and conditioning workouts and volunteering at practices/tournaments.I enjoy working out, playing video games, and trying to stay as active as possible within sports. My girlfriend and I are big into sand volleyball and are always looking for more tournaments to play in. I also enjoy spending time with my three dogs Carly, Oakley, and Nalla. Stretchlab is a place that drew me in as their philosophy on how to care for people is what I strive for in my Chiropractic adventures. Taking people through active recovery and educating them on how to better care for themselves is something I am a huge believer in. This style of care has shown the best long term results in people’s lives.
