After working 7 years in mental health, Maria found her true inspiration through perspiration. Maria started her career in the fitness and wellness industry over 15 years ago and has never looked back. The facility ran successfully for 10 years before they decided to close the doors and Maria shifted her focus from group fitness to personal training. Maria is both AFAA and ACE certified, a mindfulness coach with Alignment Essentials, holds a black belt in several fighting arts and has additional certifications in a multitude of specialties. Maria is an advocate for the importance of physical, mental, and emotional wellness and believes they are the cornerstones to living a joy-filled life. Maria is overjoyed with the opportunity to share her love and knowledge of this industry with members at StretchLab. When she is not at the studio, she is either sipping her brewmaster husband’s latest creation, watching her 2 step children compete at AQ’s mission bouts, listening to her oldest daughter rock out on the guitar or watching her youngest crush the ball at her softball game.
