      Kim
      Flexologist
“In my formative years, I was the kid people told their stories to. I began having realizations of seeing the human body as a self-healing energetic mechanism and recognized I was fascinated by the normal, and complex, healing process of injuries.” Kim simply enjoys helping others, values family and loves the complexities of the human body. She moved to Asheville in 2010 after completing her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Kent State University. A few years later, in 2015, Kim received her Physical Therapist Assistant license and has dedicated four years to treating chronic pain syndromes full-time in a heart-centered Functional PT and Bodywork clinic called Gentle Pain Release Center. Years of performing manual bodywork brought Kim to get her license as a Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach with a specialization in chronic pain in 2021 from Take Courage Coaching University in California. In her early career, she dedicated four years to developmental therapy as a full-time therapist in outpatient pediatric rehab, at Kids First Therapy.

      Elijah
      Elijah
      Flexologist
I am a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Massage and Bodywork Therapist, and Arvigo Practitioner of Mayan Abdominal Massage. I have my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, and have over a decade of experience and education in various physical therapy and athletic training settings. I am a lifelong athlete who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and being as active as I can be. Despite a number of injuries throughout my teen years, I eventually became an All-American Collegiate Cross Country runner by learning how to not only overcome each injury, but become stronger and faster after each. While running is still one of my favorite activities, I have focused more on functional strength and movement in my post-collegiate days. With this being said, I am a firm believer in movement being the best medicine, and I would love to help you get moving and feeling better in your body! My approach to healthcare is holistic and integrative, in which I utilize my knowledge, extensive training, and intuition to truly listen to the body and the individual’s needs. I help individuals find and address the root causes of their symptoms and make lifestyle changes to further help alleviate pain and find peace and wellbeing. I am also a lifelong learner and a steward of the land. I value nature, sustainability, justice, equality, peace, and love. Outside of work, I enjoy spending the majority of my time with my family (wonderful partner, an energetic pup, two adorable kitty cats, and a baby boy on the way) and friends gardening, cooking, doing building projects, and various other homesteading activities on the beautiful land we call home in the Appalachian Mountains.
