Flexologist
Hello. I'm Nathan Wheelock. I was born and raised in Russell, KS. My passion for health and wellness started at a young age when I decided to attend Baker University and major in Exercise Science while also being a pitcher on the baseball team. I chose Exercise Science as a major after growing up an obese adolescent who played various sports and became intrigued on how to help my overall health and sports performance increase. After graduating from Baker in 2012, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called Transverse Myelitis. This condition caused inflammation of the myelin sheath around the spinal cord and affected nerve communication throughout the left side of my body from my mid-back to left foot. This event led me to pursuing my masters degree in exercise science at Fort Hays University to better understand how the body operates and heals. During this time, I really transitioned my outlook on training from sports performance based, to that of rehabilitation and overall wellness and longevity. I knew going through such events in life was a sign for me to help others with any struggles they may be experiencing. After graduation, I spent a couple years working at a wellness center in Wichita and eventually started my own business and then moved to Santa Monica, CA. After a couple of years in California, I decided to move back to Kansas as the big city life was not for me. My passion has allowed me to help numerous people improve their quality of life. Helping others through my education and personal experience is something something I greatly enjoy and am very blessed to have the ability to help others improve their overall wellness. . Helping others through my education and personal experience is something I greatly enjoy and am very blessed to have the ability to help others improve their overall wellness and life. Outside of work, I really enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, walking my dog, woodworking, limestone carving, going to church, and spending time with my girlfriend and family. I am very grateful for such an opportunity and look forward to serving and helping the Wichita community improve their quality of life.
