    Amaya earned her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with concentration in Health Science and is also an ACSM certified personal trainer. She provides the knowledge of being a lifelong athlete participating in volleyball and track and in addition has worked for another StretchLab location for over a year before joining our location. Her favorite quote is “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you don’t stop.” Amaya’s favorite place she traveled to was Jamaica for New Years 2023. When she’s not at StretchLab you’ll find her going to the gym or watching reality TV. Her favorite stretch is the pigeon stretch. Amaya’s favorite part of working at StretchLab is being an athlete knowing the importance of stretching and fulfilling her desire to help people feel better and reach their goals.

    Flexologist

    Abraham brings a wealth of experience in movement, recovery, and relaxation to StretchLab. He holds a B.S. in Athletic Training (2017), a Massage Therapy certification (2020), and a Yoga Teacher Training certification (2021). His diverse background includes teaching yoga and breathing techniques, one-on-one massage therapy, personal training, and leading group exercise classes. His favorite stretch is the Reclined Supine Twist, which he loves for its versatility and various modifications. Abraham is passionate about helping people feel their best, and he takes pride in guiding clients toward relaxation and improved mobility in just 25-50 minutes. Outside of StretchLab, Abraham cherishes fatherhood and family time. He also enjoys reading, yoga, and meditation, making wellness a core part of his life. His favorite travel destination is the Colorado Mountains, especially Red Rocks Amphitheater, where he’s experienced unforgettable concerts.     Frank is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and holds a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. With a passion for movement and resilience, he lives by the quote, "It's not about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving," from Rocky Balboa. Outside of StretchLab, you'll find Frank honing his skills in martial arts or reminiscing about his favorite trip to Miami—especially the incredible food! His go-to stretch is upper body traction for the near-instant relief it provides. For Frank, the best part of working at StretchLab is the supportive community and uplifting environment.

    Kevin J.

    Flexologist

    Kevin earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Behavior Change Specialist (BCS), and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. Kevin has worked as a personal trainer, LA Fitness specialist, and has previous stretching experience at Sedgebrook. He also trained in acting and improv at Second City Chicago. His favorite quote is “A true champion has the ability to adapt to anything.” His favorite place he traveled was Beverly Hills, California. His favorite moment from that trip was seeing the Hollywood sign and walking along the Walk of Fame. When he is not at StretchLab, you’ll find Kevin watching movies, enjoying live music, or performing in bands. His favorite stretch is the piriformis stretch because he can relate to a tight piriformis! Kevin’s favorite part of working at StretchLab is being able to help others.

    Flexologist

    Polly brings 27 years of experience in Zen Shiatsu, Massage Therapy, Himalayan Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Conscious Breathing, Systematic Relaxation Techniques, and Guided Imagery to Stretch Lab. She holds a BS in Fine Arts (Piano Performance), is an AOBTA Certified Practitioner, LMT, has a Post-graduate Advanced Shiatsu Practitioner Certificate for Trauma Release and Auto-Immune Disorders. She was a founding member of the Integrative Medicine Program at Endeavor Health, where she worked for 26 years with Oncology, Cardiac, Diabetes, Auto-Immune Disorders and patients from every demographic. A gift from those 26 years was her experience doing end of life work with patients and their families. On her own time, she assisted mothers giving birth, using Acupressure to alleviate pain for women giving birth without the use of medication. Being present at the moment of a child’s birth is one of her greatest memories. Her first life was in the theatre as an Actress, Opera director, Pianist, and Improv Actress and her favorite places in the world are Greece, Italy, and right here at home in Chicago. She loves to stay mobile and healthy with her Yoga, Pilates, Breathing and Rebounding practices. Her favorite stretch is any kind of spinal rotation. And her favorite quote is by Rabindranath Tagore, “Do not say, “It is morning,” and dismiss it with a name of yesterday. See it for the first time as a newborn child that has no name.” Polly is passionate about helping people stay young and feel great in their bodies and continuing lifelong learning about her many curiosities. When Polly isn’t at StretchLab you’ll find her playing on the floor with her grandchildren or taking arts classes with her person!

    Flexologist

    Vitalii is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Program at the College of Lake County. His education and hands-on training have provided him with a strong foundation in anatomy, movement, recovery, and overall wellness. He currently works as a massage therapist and enjoys helping people improve their flexibility and mobility. His favorite quote is, “There is nothing impossible to him who will try,” by Alexander the Great. His favorite place he traveled was Los Angeles, California, where he enjoyed hiking to the Hollywood Sign with friends. When he is not at StretchLab, you'll find Vitalii working as a massage therapist or spending time with family and friends. His favorite stretch is the hamstring stretch because he understands the challenges of tight hamstrings and the benefits of improved flexibility. Vitalii’s favorite part of working at StretchLab is helping others feel and move better.

    Camille is completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University and is set to graduate in August. Her passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their quality of life led her to pursue a career in movement and wellness. Her favorite quote is, “You can do anything you set your mind to,” by Benjamin Franklin. Having traveled to more than 50 countries, Camille's favorite destination is Dubai, where she enjoyed visiting KidZania as a child. When she is not at StretchLab, you'll find Camille at the gym, shopping, spending time with friends, cooking, watching TV shows, or practicing self-care. Her favorite stretch is Child’s Pose because of its calming and restorative benefits. Camille’s favorite part of working at StretchLab is helping people feel their best and achieve their wellness goals.

    Ronnie comes to us with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science-Kinesiology and is currently pursuing his Master’s in the same field. As an athlete and current strength coach, Ronnie brings both passion and expertise to every stretch session. His favorite stretches? Anything that targets the hamstrings. He’s all about helping you improve flexibility and performance in one of the body’s most important muscle groups. His favorite quote is the hardest thing to do is work while no one is watching. It’s a mindset he brings to both fitness and life. Outside of StretchLab, you’ll find Ronnie lifting weights, walking his dog, or reminiscing about his favorite trip to the Dominican Republic, where he loved exploring the island and soaking up the culture. Ronnie has previous experience at another StretchLab, and what he enjoyed most was building genuine connections with clients and celebrating their progress over time. He’s excited to bring that same energy and dedication to our studio!
