      I have a personal training background with a focus on functional training, corrective exercise and coaching techniques. After 20-plus years in fitness, I was ready to try a different modality. StretchLab provided the opportunity to work hands on with clients in a way that directly improves their lives. I am interested in helping clients to be the best version of themselves. After a session, I want clients to feel relieved and also a sense of hope while working with us on their fitness journey. What’s most rewarding for me are testimonies from clients who have struggled with mobility and are now able to live like they once did. When I’m not at StretchLab, I enjoy working out, and I’m also a 3D artist.

      I am a former college football player with my degree in exercise science. I currently work as a personal trainer, with experience in group fitness, and strength and conditioning. I want clients to know that their goals and needs will always be prioritized before we do any stretches and after each session. That way, we can plan on how to improve each session. I had the privilege working with one of our studio’s first 50-stretch member for over the past year and love talking with her about her travels and how stretching has helped her get around. Outside of the studio, I love to workout, play video games, and watch football. I also love to anime and manga.

      I am a yoga instructor and practitioner. I was inspired to become a Flexologist at StretchLab because I value movement and wellness and wanted to be aligned with a brand that shares those values. I want clients to feel tranquil, comfortable in their bodies, present, and have the freedom to move. I’ve had a client tell me that after coming to StretchLab consistently is the best they have felt in a long time. I’m proud that I could be a part of that experience. Outside of StretchLab, I love to cook delicious meals, listen to podcasts, have deep conversations about differing views, and look at good city or nature views.

      With over 20 years of experience in health and fitness, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master's in Human Movement Science, specializing in injury prevention for athletes. My background spans athletic training, yoga, corrective exercises, muscle building, and sports such as basketball, football, baseball, and boxing. My goal is for every client to leave the studio feeling better, physically and mentally, than when they walked in. Each time a client smiles and says, "I'm so glad I came in today," or "If it weren't for you, I’d be in a wheelchair," it reminds me of why I do this. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, traveling, getting tattoos, gaming, working out, and hiking.

      My passion for the freedom of movement and knowing firsthand what it’s like to have your mobility compromised due to injury is what brought me to StretchLab Hyde Park. My background includes more than 20 years of personal training and strength coaching, plus experience in a physical therapy clinic, helping patients recover from surgery and injuries. It’s important to speak with every client and give them space to be candid about their goals, pain, excitement or even frustrations. I like to make sure clients feel like they’ve made a step towards achieving their goals after a session. When I’m not at StretchLab Hyde Park, you’ll find me reading, traveling, visiting museums, watching foreign and independent cinema, doing kettlebell swings and making beats!

      StretchLab Hyde Park was a great place for me to test my knowledge and help people feel their best! I am currently studying kinesiology at UIC and a recently retired D3 athlete of softball and track and field. I have also worked in athletic training side as rehabilitation aide. After a session with me, I want a client to feel like a weight was lifted off them and that they can better take on their day. This is your time, allow yourself to relax and take a deep breath from the stresses of life. Away from the studio, I love to be active in any sport. I love to cook and bake in my free time, and I also love dogs and spending time with my puppies.

      Group Stretches are led by one of our highly trained Flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches and teach proper stretch tool use.

      A 25 or 50 minute one-on-one stretch customized to your specific needs, focusing on problem areas or targeting certain muscle groups.
