      Alanna Huling
      Alanna Huling
      Flexologist
      Alanna graduated in 2023 from Hofstra University with degrees in Dance and Psychology. She has been teaching dance and dance fitness for almost 8 years, and has been focused on Somatics and contemporary movement practices during her time in college. Alanna uses her knowledge of breath-work, body mechanics, and her immense background in flexibility training to help her clients move more freely. Because of her background in dance, Alanna understands the importance of injury prevention, mobility expansion, and consistency, which empowers her to provide those things to her clients. When she's not a StretchLab, she works in arts administration at several organizations in NYC, and choreographs for festivals throughout the city!

      Destiny is a dancing artist and personal trainer who aims to help people reconnect to and deepen their relationships with their bodies through stretching and healing. After receiving their BFA in Dance from Temple University and personal trainer certification from NASM, they began working as a professional dancer in conjunction with their work in health and wellness. Destiny integrates components of flexibility training, somatics, breath work and Alexander technique into her work as a flexologist. She enjoys movement, being in nature and spending time with her cat, Elixir, and bunny, Bootsie, when she is out of the studio.

      Allen is a New York native with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology from CUNY Brooklyn College. He has worked in physical therapy clinics as a PT aide throughout New York City since he was 17, working with multiple populations with a wide variety of conditions in the process. He is also an ACSM certified Exercise Physiologist. Allen has been active throughout his life and enjoys activities such as long-distance running, basketball, and walks with his wife, Patricia. Most importantly, he continuously strives to help as many people as he can to reach their goals and help them move better, leading him to StretchLab Columbus Circle.

      Originally from California, Barrett has made his way across the country and internationally through his 25+ years of dance training. He began to truly understand the power that stretching can do for you with an experiential anatomy course he took in his university. From there he tried to learn and understand as much as he could on best ways for the body to work and feel better every day. He was lucky enough to work with award winning acrobats when he worked on cruise ships for 3 years where he learned what real professional athletes do to help their body and some of the tricks for both stretching and strength building. He wants to be able to use his background of dance and knowledge he gained along the way to try and help as many people as possible.

      Ervin is a professional dancer and registered Creative Arts Therapist. He obtained an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University and a BFA in dance performance from the University of the Arts. Aside from being a performer, Ervin has diversified experience in the helping professions and is an advocate for health and wellness. He is passionate about flexibility training and enriching the lives of others through his work as a Flexologist. He believes in the importance of attuning to the body and the principle that a body in motion stays in motion. Ervin enjoys brunch on Sundays and exploring interactive and immersive museums in the city.
      David Shutler

      David graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer accredited by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Beyond his formal education, David has dedicated himself to self-directed learning, studying multiple physical therapy textbooks to deepen his understanding of rehabilitative exercises and movement mechanics. He strongly believes that habit formation is essential to achieving fitness goals and works with clients to develop practical, sustainable routines that fit into their daily lives. Outside of his professional pursuits, David enjoys working out, experimenting with new recipes, and finding grocery stores that sell the most cost effective sources of organic protein.

      Rileigh is a dancer, performer, and movement artist focused on developing greater mind-body connectivity and awareness through stretching. She graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a BFA degree in dance from The Ailey School and a dual major degree in applied mathematics. She works as a professional dancer in New York City: performing, teaching, and choreographing work throughout the city. As a dancer, she understands that stretching is the cornerstone to a person's relationship to their body and hopes to offer greater freedom and ease in movement, as well as facilitate a deep appreciation and respect for the body and all that it does. In her free time, you can find Rileigh scouting out the best bubble tea spots in the city and/or taking a dance class.

      Kyle Sangil has a passion for helping clients improve mobility, reduce tension, and achieve their movement goals. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet from Point Park University and spent three seasons performing professionally with Whim W’Him Contemporary Dance in Seattle before transitioning into the health and wellness field. Kyle combines his extensive movement background with hands-on assisted stretching experience to help clients improve mobility, decrease pain and tension, enhance performance, and move more efficiently in their daily lives. He enjoys working with a wide range of clients—from athletes and fitness enthusiasts to individuals seeking relief from chronic tightness, discomfort, or limited mobility. Kyle believes that better movement is the key to living a healthier, more active, and fulfilling life.

      Group Stretches are led by one of our highly trained Flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches and teach proper stretch tool use.
