I moved from the suburbs of Chicago to beautiful Knoxville in the spring of 2021. Health and wellness has been a passion of mine and the main focus of my career, beginning with becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant my senior year of high school. Since then, I have also received my Associates in Biology from Harper College and my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from TriBalance Yoga back in Chicago. I absolutely love helping others move better in their bodies and encouraging them to live the life they want! When I’m not in the studio, you’ll most likely find me somewhere outdoors mountain biking, hiking, or rock climbing. “Motion is lotion” is a phrase I use often. The more we move our bodies, the better we can feel. And I want you to feel awesome!

I got into fitness when I was 16 years old. It was transformative in both my mental and physical health. It led me to feel confident in myself, and I've dedicated my career to helping others experience that as well. I graduated with my BS in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have also been a nutrition coach and certified personal trainer for 5 years. I chose StretchLab because I know how crucial recovery and flexibility are to keeping up with your fitness. I hope to give others the gift of wellness through my position here. My favorite ways to stay active are yoga, weight lifting, and hiking. I also have a 4-year old Labrador named Nash who loves to get outside and play frisbee.

Hello! I was born and raised in England, moving to the United States in 1999. My husband served in the US military until retiring last year. In 2007, while deployed, he had a serious fall which came with immense life-changing repercussions. This became the catalyst for me to look for any modality I could find to help relieve his day-to-day chronic pain and improve quality of life and movement. My background is in Massage Therapy, and upon moving to Knoxville I was thrilled to have come across Stretch Lab; incorporating one-on-one assisted stretching into my routine has been a game changer for both me and my family, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals as you invest in yourself. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll find me hanging with my family, trying to raise chickens and binge watching any British crime shows with an obligatory cup of tea.

      Flexologist/ Asst. Trainer
Hey! Nick here! I’m born and raised in New Orleans, LA (WHO DAT) where my journey started as a multi-sport high school athlete. Currently, I am an Exercise Specialist with over 5 years of combined experience in sports performance, physical therapy, and health & wellness. I graduated from Maryville College (TN) where I received my bachelors degree in Exercise Science. During my time at Maryville College, I played baseball for 4 years as a pitcher while studying research methods in exercise physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics concentrated in athletics. I have had the opportunity to play and coach all over the country with past and current professional athletes. While sustaining multiple major injuries competing as an athlete, I have developed a strong passion for helping individuals perform at high levels while sustaining a PAIN FREE lifestyle. My passion and experiences have currently lead me to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy. I have experience with assisting in treating multiple professional athletes in clinical sports PT. I have a broad range of therapeutic experiences in other settings that include acute care and geriatric assisted living. I’ve also had the joy of participating in and coaching Olympic lifting as well as sports performance-based training. Outside of the StretchLab studio, you can either find me in the gym, in the sand playing beach volleyball, on a trail in the mountains, in a boat on the water, or eating some good ole Cajun food!

Hi, my name is Jake and I am originally from San Antonio, Texas but I have also lived in Nevada, Utah, Washington, Kansas and even Okinawa, Japan! I obviously now live in Knoxville and I have loved every second of it so far! I fell in love with the health an fitness industry through sports. Growing up I played every sport you could imagine and have been through my fair share of injuries. I’ve worked with many physical therapists and athletic trainers throughout my athletic career and all of them played a part in showing me that this is the field that I want a career in. Once I got to high school I focused on just golf and baseball. I then went on to play 2 years of junior college baseball in Washington and 3 years of college baseball at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. While I have now retired from baseball, I am still an extremely avid golfer. I graduated from Newman in May of 2023 with a bachelors in biology and a minor in sports medicine. I am hoping to eventually pursue a masters degree and work in the realm of athletic training because I love working with athletes! I joined the StretchLab team because I love to help people reach their individual goals and feel better in their day to day life and this is the perfect platform to do that!

Hello! My name is Kenya. I’m a Knoxville native and am so happy to be back in my hometown doing what I love. My love for the great work of fitness and wellness came to me in college after my dreams as a college wrestler were put on hold due to injuries. The importance of preventative care and good recovery became essential in my career, and I quickly learned that I loved sharing this with the people around me as well! Thus, I decided to obtain my BS in Exercise Science and soon I will continue my education by pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy at LMU!! The majority of my experience in this field from a professional standpoint is from working in outpatient physical therapy, but I have also gotten to serve people as a Flexologist at StretchLab in Colorado prior to returning to my hometown! I truly love this company and the services that we offer to help people use and enjoy their bodies in everyday life. Outside of my work as a Flexologist, I also coach girls high school wrestling!
